Twin Brook Capital Partners

Spectacular city views and a sleek design form a lively Midwest hub for Twin Brook Capital Partners.

Located in the Loop along the Chicago River, the 28,000 sf office houses the headquarters of Angelo, Gordon’s Twin Brook Capital Partners middle market direct lending business. As the second-largest Angelo Gordon office after New York, the Chicago office is a hub for the region, hosting investor meetings and conferences.

The layout is centered on two large, open areas that take advantage of the spectacular city, lake, and river views from the 36th floor location: one, a “market hall” for investor meeting and events, the other, a lively collaboration workspace designed for analysis of pending deals and investments. A dramatic entrance to the “market hall” is created with repetitive ceiling coves, diffused lighting, and angled wood walls that frame the stunning view. The “collaboration hall” has similar angled ceiling coves that give a more intimate, humane scale while accentuating the city views. Natural light is maximized throughout with use of glass walls and partitions. A crisp, white environment with earthy materials and warm color accents in the furniture creates a sophisticated and inviting environment.

Walnut paneling, striated marble floors, and angled ceilings provide a distinctive feel throughout the reception and public areas.
