Sullivan's Island Residence

An existing beach house was transformed into a light-filled, contemporary residence with dramatic ocean views, expansive living spaces, and a new SYA custom designed trapezoidal infinity pool. Various strategies for enhancing natural ventilation and controlling direct sunlight allow for large social gatherings in the hot, humid climate. The design references local building materials through the use of FSC-certified Southern pine floors and cypress ceilings.
