Makerspace @ Columbia

Columbia University’s School of Engineering Makerspace @ Columbia is an innovative hub for interdisciplinary invention.

Located in the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science, the Makerspace @ Columbia is the main makerspace for the entire campus and is available for use by all students. Centered on an open work area with the latest digital modeling and fabrication equipment, the creative workshop also includes separate machine and wood shops visible through acoustic glass walls. More than a collection of workshops and break-out areas, the Makerspace @ Columbia is an exchange; a place that fosters interdisciplinary collaboration through fabrication, research, and discussion.
