Engineering Headquarters

Columbia University’s Engineering Headquarters highlights the art of engineering.

The new headquarters for the School of Engineering is welcoming and open, conveying Dean Mary C. Boyce’s vision for fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation between departments and across the university through a network of destinations within the suite. Extensive use of glass, metal, and white finishes creates a refined and light-filled environment. A dramatic yet inviting back-lit entry creates a new face for the engineering school. The reception area, open office areas, and conference room feature exposed ceilings that are dramatically lit and an art gallery showcasing the aesthetic beauty of engineering.
