David Glick has extensive experience in planning, new construction, renovation, and interior design for major institutional projects. Mr. Glick’s expertise also includes complex renovation of historic structures including SYA’s recent partial renovation of the historic Ansonia building for Mount Sinai Health System in New York City. Since joining SYA, Mr. Glick has also been responsible for the phased renovation of a 165,000 sf academic building at CUNY Medgar Evers College, the renovation of the CUNY Kingsborough Community College Performing Arts Center, and the CUNY Lehman College School of Social Work.
Prior to joining SYA, Mr. Glick was responsible for numerous institutional projects at Dattner Architects and FX Fowle including major components of the comprehensive renovation of Lincoln Center and a master plan for SUNY Purchase. Mr. Glick also has substantial prior experience in multi-family housing and retail facility design.
Mr. Glick received his Master of Design Studies degree in Urbanism, Landscape and Ecology from Harvard University Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor Degree in Architecture from Cornell University. Mr. Glick enjoys discovering obscure histories about New York and exploring remote parts of the U.S. by bicycle.
