Andrew Miller has over seventeen years of extensive experience in a broad range of projects for non-profit, public, commercial, and residential clients. For the past twelve years at SYA, he has been responsible for numerous projects including award-winning facilities for the City of New York through Mayor Bloomberg’s Design Excellence Program. Other projects at SYA include the multiple award-winning Planned Parenthood Queens, and facilities for CUNY, Brooklyn Museum, NYU Langone Health, Mount Sinai Health System, and Columbia University. He has also been responsible for innovative workspace projects including offices for Angelo, Gordon throughout the U.S. and London as well as the headquarters of Enterprise Community Partners. Among Mr. Miller’s best known works at SYA is the widely published, award-winning, and highly resilient Guest Pavilion in South Carolina.
Prior to joining SYA, Mr. Miller worked at Tannerhecht Architecture in San Francisco where he was responsible for numerous market rate multi-family residential and hospitality buildings.
Mr. Miller received a Bachelor of Architecture with Honors from Victoria University, Wellington, New Zealand. In addition to being an architect, Mr. Miller’s passion is rebuilding and repairing classic Porsches and BMWs.
